Jenner... national pride of the Draconis Combine.
It was Introduced in 2784. Designed, produced and solely used by the Combine, the Jenner was meant to be a fast guerrilla fighter which would go on to form the foundation for highly mobile lances. Five Smithson Lifter jump jets, two in each side torso and one in the center torso, gave it a jumping distance of 150 meters, while its 245-rated Magna fusion engine allowed for a top speed of over 118 km/h, making it faster than most other Mechs. So was creating a good mix of speed and firepower, compared to other Mechs in the same weight range.

Technical specifications

  • Mass: 35 tons
  • Class: Light
  • Chassis: Diplan Scout-A
  • Armor: Starshield
  • Engine: Magna 245
  • Communications System: Dawson III
  • Targeting Tracking System: Bk-309
  • Heat Sinks: 10
  • Speed: 118.8 km/h
  • Jump Jets: Smithson Lifter
  • Armament
    • 1x SRM-4
    • 4x Medium Lasers

The basis for the creation was a configuration JR7-D.
All limbs are movable as in the game: legs, weapons and torso rotating 360 ° Using technique of creating “Polygonal Modeling” and you will get Hard Surface model for enjoying your favourite mech. Combine Jenner with larger Battlemechs and unleash a devastating alpha strike with Gambody Marketplace. Now it’s available for purchase!

In the FFF/FDM 1.0 version, Jenner has increased legs mobility, so you can put your mech in any position or surface
The DLP/SLA/SLS 1.0 version is made for saving material and max ease of printing.

All STL files for 3D printing have been checked for errors and corrected in Netfabb.

Note: Before starting 3D printing the model, read the Printing Details for CURA 2.7.0. software.

Scale:
Based on the scale of the MWO tables and a pilot proportions of 2m tall.
In the game it size is 11 meters and 13 meters with antennas.
13000/60 = 218 mm(8.58 in.) tall - with antennas.
11000/60 = 183 mm(7.2 in.) tall - without antennas.
13000/100 ≈ 130 mm(5.11 in.) tall - SLS version.

There are 24 parts for FFF/FDM 1.0 version and 6 part for DLP/SLA/SLS 1.0.

All limbs and weapon in FFF/FDM 1.0 version are movable!
All parts of the joints should be printed at 100% infill.

If you printing with PLA material you should increase the scale of joints (11, 15 and 17 .stl file numbers) at 2-3% in your slicing program.
If you printing with ABS/CPE material you should increase the scale of joints
(11, 15 and 17 .stl file numbers) at 1% in your slicing program.

FFF/FDM 1.0 version:
- Is 1:60 scale and after being printed will stand 218 mm tall, 134 mm wide, 130 mm deep;
- Is designed to save almost all movable elements that prototype has;
- Has removable hinges that should be printed at 100% infill to make them solid.
DLP/SLA/SLS 1.0 version:
- Is 1:100 scale and will stand 130 mm tall, 80 mm wide, 77.2 mm deep.
- Has as few details as possible to keep printing costs down.

On 08.11.2017 new version of joints have been added.

You can find detailed picture guidelines about how to use new joints in your model HERE.

With the new joints you will get next advantages:

  1. Increases frictional force
  2. Possible to up scale or down scale the whole model
  3. Printable from any type of material
  4. Higher strength
  5. Material shrinkage does not affect at strength and friction

STL files with new joints are already available for download in “Source files” tab for the FFF/FDM 1.1 version.

FAQ:

Where can I print a model if I have no printer?
How to get started with 3D printing?
How to set up my 3D printer?
How to choose right 3D model print bed positioning?
How to paint printed figurine?

This model was tested in Cura 2.7.0. and print on an Ultimaker 2 in PLA material.

Note:

- You can print new joints with 20-30% infill.
- With the new joints you can up scale or down scale the whole model.

- All parts of connectors should be printed at 100% infill.

- You should print old joints with 100% infill.
- With the old joints do not try to up scale or down scale the whole model since it will not be assemble or movable after scale changes.
- Using the PLA material you should increase the scale of old joints at 2-3% in your slicing program.
- Using the ABS/CPE material you should increase the scale of old joints at 1% in your slicing program.
